Winter Market – April 18

We’ve only got two weeks left! If you haven’t been all winter, this is the time to come down  – the Winter Market is bursting with lovely blooms, fresh greens, wild harvested goodies and sweet treats galore. With the ongoing spring, there are a few new faces coming to the market this week too:

  • Poplar Grove Arbour Hazelnuts: Peter and Liz Andres are closing the chapter on the farmers markets. Come say good-bye and stock up on the last of their hazelnuts and products. Check out pictures of their farm on Facebook
  • Twin Oaks Farm: Keith and Sheila usher in spring with their fabulous carnivorous plants!
  • The Promised Land Farm: Alain is back with wild harvested delectables – remember that nettle guy you haven’t seen all winter?
  • Scentimental Creations: Cheryl is celebrating Earth Week by creating and demoing her natural all purpose cleaning product. Demo at 10:30am

Celebrate Earth Week! We’re celebrating at both Winter Market locations with demos, food swaps, food waste campaigns and more (Read more)

Save the Drop Spot! We surpassed our weekly goal and collected $112 in donations last week. Woohoo! Help us reach $400 by April 25.

It’s time for Summer Farmers Markets: We’ve got seven markets throughout Vancouver this summer – check out our markets page for opening dates, locations and times (or come pick up a leaflet at the Information Booth)
