The Mission of Vancouver Farmers Markets is "to foster community health and local economic development through the creation of a venue where community members have greater access to safe, healthy, locally produced, environmentally friendly food, and where BC producers can market their goods directly to urban consumers". We operate 4 summer Farmers Markets in Vancouver: .... as well as a twice-monthly Winter Farmers Market (Nov - Apr) and an annual indoor Holiday Market in December. |

Markets Go Longer into Fall - All markets are open past Thanksgiving this year - East Van and West End until Oct 25, Kitsilano until Oct 26 and Riley Park until Oct 22. There's lots to love about markets in the Fall - we'd love your support for our longer season! Craft Stars of the Future - If you've been thinking of trying to make it big as a craft vendor at the market, now's the time to make the move! We're looking for vendors for our 2009 craft jury in Jan 09. If you would like to receive jury information, just click this link and press send. You can also call our office to sign up for info by mail. Sweet Victory - Our BC Apple Pie Competition was a huge hit and thanks to everyone who submitted beautiful pies. We had 22 entries and 22 great pies! Lori Hargreaves of Vancouver won with her "Yin Yang" pie. We're already looking forward to next year! Winter Farmers Market dates have been announced.
