Market Sponsor: Modo The Car Co-op

The friendly folks at Modo have been offering Vancouverites rides since 1997.

A true champion of community, Modo supports many local events and organizations around town, including the 2014 Kitsilano Farmers Market. This summer, Modo is offering complimentary lifts home from the market for shoppers who need a hand with their groceries and other local goodies. To sign up for a free ride, or to get details on becoming a Modo member, visit their tent on the following dates: July 20, Aug 10, Sept 28, Oct 12

ModoModo is Metro Vancouver’s only member-owned, not-for-profit carshare co-op, since 1997 – and the official carshare of the Vancouver Farmers Markets!

With a mission to reduce environmental impact for the region, Modo replaces private vehicles with shared ones, reducing congestion and alleviating pressure on vital green spaces and farmland.

Modo is proud to partner with local food initiatives that connect eaters with producers. Just as farmers markets are about more than simply feeding the belly, carsharing contributes toward a healthier, more resilient, livable city.

About Modo:
Whether living car-free or using Modo as a second vehicle, Modo members share hundreds of cars, trucks, vans and electrics across Metro Vancouver. Book by the hour or the day, and discover the cost savings and freedom of carsharing.

Gas, insurance are included, as well as great perks including Parking Benefits, Bridge Tolls, and discounts from local businesses and member organizations!
