Parking Update at Riley Park Winter Market

As of January 1, the City of Vancouver has transitioned all parking lots at Hillcrest Community Centre (including the gravel lot) to EasyPark paid parking.

Shoppers driving to the Riley Park Winter Farmers Market are encouraged to:

  • Follow posted parking signage
  • Pay for parking using EasyPark
  • Allow a few extra minutes to park and pay

This change is part of the City’s updated parking strategy and did come as a surprise to us. As we gather more information over the next few days, we encourage you to please plan accordingly to avoid parking tickets. And if you have feedback or concerns about this change, we encourage you to contact 3-1-1.

Thank you for supporting local farmers and food producers!

Parking

While the Riley Park Winter Market is close to the Hillcrest Community Center we do not share parking. Community Center parking lots are for Hillcrest Community Centre patrons only.

If you must drive please park in the large gravel lot, south of the stadium, enter off Midlothian Ave (look for the red signs)

Thank you for your cooperation & respecting our neighbours.

**Due to Stadium Construction there may be parking impacts at Riley Park this winter. As always we encourage alternative means of transportation like bike, transit, car share, walk, etc. to get to markets. If you do drive, parking may be more limited than usual and parking a bit farther away such as on Main St and walking in may be an option to consider.
