Community Seed Cleaning Demonstration
with Mojave Kaplan, Seed Warrioress
Not sure if you know of Mojave Kaplan from Planting Seeds Project, but she’s pretty inspiring and one of the few seed savers left in BC. She’s going to be doing a Community Seed Cleaning Demonstration from 10-2 with ongoing demonstrations and a couple mini workshops at Mt Pleasant THIS SUNDAY, September 28:
11am: Introduction to Seed Cleaning
12pm: Seed Extraction (from tomatoes)
If you have seed you’ve been struggling with or just want to chat with a passionate grower and seed saver, stop by the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market (2300 Guelph St OR Dude Chilling Park) on Sunday.
Bring your own seed to clean! (and please, pass this on to anyone who might be interested)
