Kitsilano Opening Day May 10th – at our new TEMPORARY location!
We’re back for another super summer season of farmers markets! We hope you’ll join us to celebrate our 20th anniversary and all the very best in local food.
NEW TEMPORARY LOCATION
The Park Board is currently repaving the parking lot at 10th and Larch that usually hosts us. The Kits market will temporarily relocate to Riley Park, at the southeast corner of 30th Avenue and Ontario Street, from May 10th – June 7th. The market will run on the same day (Sundays), same time (10am – 2pm), and have all the same vendors you know and love at Kitsilano! We will resume operations at the regular Kits site on June 14th, pending no delays in construction.
We thank our shoppers, vendors, and community partners for their patience in the interim, and we look forward to being back at the Kitsilano Community Centre very soon!
IT’S OUR BIRTHDAY!
Vancouver Farmers Markets turn 20 this year, and we’re celebrating with a series of 20th Anniversary events, contests, limited edition merchandise, and festivities.
Come down to our Kits Opening Day and share a birthday treat with us. Sweet Thea Bakery is whipping up a batch of 200 macarons in our signature red and green – come early to share in the sweetness!
Show your support for the markets in our 20th year by becoming a Market Member during our 20th Anniversary Membership Drive. Sign up for Market Membership between May 6-18 and be entered to win a pair of tickets to Cirque du Soleil’s upcoming show Varekai!
