Last week in the West End – October 24
Thanks for another great season!
This Saturday is our last West End Farmers Market of 2015 and what a season it’s been! It’s seems like just last week we were back for our first market in the West End. We’ve seen extreme heat bring so many crops to the market weeks earlier than expected, high winds that forced us to close early and some very wet days that you made you put on those boots and bring an umbrella! On behalf of the market team, volunteers and vendors we want to say thanks for all your support this season! Make sure you stock up on all your market needs this week – you can still find lots of apples, pears, squash, carrots, beets, onions, leeks, greens, tomatoes and much more!
After Saturday we have our last Kitsilano market on Sunday followed by our last Yaletown market next Thursday October 29th! Then we divide into the Hastings Park Winter Market (Sundays, starting November 8, 10am-2pm at the PNE) and Nat Bailey Winter Market (Saturdays, starting November 7, 10am-2pm at Nat Bailey Stadium).
Don’t forget about our annual Holiday Market at the Croatian Cultural Centre – Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 10 am to 4 pm. Visit the market page for participating vendors and details on our first ever Gingerbread House Competition!
