Join us at the Main Street Station Farmers Market on August 20th from 3-7pm in Thornton Park!
You can fill all of your epicurean needs with food from your favorite local growers and makers of prepared foods on Wednesday. Look for tomatoes, garlic, greens, beans, cabbage, cauliflower, poultry, eggs, and fish this week. There will also be an abundance of sweet tree fruits, juicy melons, fresh flowers, jewelry, crafts and more!

Celebrate this weekend’s Tomato Fest by taking part in our Instagram contest! Take a photo of the weirdest, most imperfect, or obscure “love Apple” at the Market this week. Get your tickets for RIPE 2014!
RIPE is our 5th annual dinner showcasing Vancouver’s top culinary talent paired with the best VFM producers. The evening begins with a series of delicious appetizers, followed by a sit-down feast of market fare. Set against the elegant backdrop of the Roundhouse Exhibition Hall, RIPE 2014 will feature signature cocktails, BC wines, and micro-brews, a silent auction, and live entertainment. During August we will be collecting donations of $5 wooden Market Money tokens for the Farmers Market Nutrition Coupon Program. These coupons help low-income families and seniors to purchase food at farmers markets. Help us reach our goal of raising $6,600 for the BC Association of Farmers Markets by sharing the wealth with your neighbours!
