Dream Cuisines

Dream Cuisines: A VFM Partnership with Flavours of Hope

Now in its third year, Dream Cuisines is a nine-month immersive program built and led by women of colour that empowers newcomer refugee and immigrant women to develop their own cultural food businesses to sell at Vancouver Farmers Markets and beyond.

  • Peer Knowledge Sharing

  • Commissary Kitchen Space
Access to a fully equipped commissary kitchen allows participants to hone their culinary skills and workshop their food products.
  • Farmers Market Vendor Stalls and Training
Participants receive training and skills development in product packaging, sales, market software, customer development, social media training and more.
  • Mentorship
Industry professionals guide and support participants as they build their burgeoning food businesses towards success.
