Local Food Global Flavours
Local Food Global Flavours at the Markets
We’re celebrating the diversity of local foods available from our growers at the markets in a program called Local Food Global Flavours.
Did you know our farmers produce dozens of Asian greens and vegetables – such as tatsoi, bitter melon, daikon, amaranth greens, shiitake mushroom, and spicy Thai pepper – right here in the Lower Mainland?
Our Local Food Global Flavours campaign will highlight these unique offerings and much more this November at Nat Bailey and Hastings Park Markets – here’s how you can experience the diversity of our food system this season:
COLLECT limited edition Local Food Global Flavours recipes and cooking tips from local chefs, food bloggers, and VFM vendors.
