VFM Boot Camp

 

This January, seven brand new vendor hopefuls will compete each week in VFM’s Boot Camp at the Winter Markets to see who comes out on top and secures a spot as a permanent market vendor!

Each Boot Camp contestant will have two Saturdays at the Riley Park Farmers Market (Winter Edition) and two Sundays at the Hastings Park Winter Farmers Market to show market shoppers their stuff. It’s up to you, dear shoppers to decide who wins, so come out and vote for your favourite! *Voting takes place at the Market Info Booth*.

2020 VFM Boot Camp Contestants:

Scrape Bakery: Gourmet cookies and bars with tantalizing flavours like Kaffir Lime Leaf Coconut and Kabocha Pie. Catch them January 5 & 19 at Hastings Park and January 11 & 25 at Riley Park.

 

 

Coastie Craft Burgers:  Fresh plant-based burger mixes and frozen patties. Minimally processed, minimally packaged. Catch them January 4 & 18 at Riley Park and January 12 & 26 at Hastings Park.

 

 

 

Caldo Broths: Plant-based sipping broths that come in a variety of delicious blends. They’re an on-the-go snack to support healthier choices. Catch them January 12 & 26 at Hastings Park and January 4 & 18 at Riley Park.

 

 

Gary’s Patisserie: Speciality cakes and cookies served in a jar – tailored to suit those on the go! Catch them January 4 & 18 at Riley Park and January 12 & 26 at Hastings Park.

Vankoji:  Shiokoji and other koji based seasonings. Use them in dressings, dips, brine, marinades, sauces, and soups to enhance the flavour! Catch them January 5 & 19 at Hastings Park and January 11 & 25 at Riley Park.

The Phamily Table: Delicious, local Vietnamese sauces. Catch them January 11 & 25 at Riley Park and January 5 & 19 at Hastings Park.

Hatch + Harvest: Offering plant based and gluten free soups featuring local produce. Catch them January 12 & 26 at Hastings Park and January 4 & 18 at Riley Park.
