We only have two weekends left at the West End Farmers Market and we have a lot lined up for them both.
Make sure to stop by the market to pick up all your Thanksgiving fixins! We’ll have everything for your big holiday meal from meat, cheese, bread, fruits and vegetables to sweets, pies and gifts that are sure impress.
Also, this Saturday is our last Donation Station day where we’re collecting cash and food donations for the Dr. Peter Centre food and nutrition program. Please find a little extra this week to give.

BC Fall-Fruit Pie Competition – we’re putting out an All Points Bulletin for the best pie bakers in the city. Bring us your Fall Fruit Pies and you may be rewarded with the big win at our annual Harvest Festival. Open to amateur and professional bakers of all ages! The entry deadline is October 16th.
The 2014 RIPE Dinner Celebration is shaping up to be our best one yet. As VFM’s signature fundraiser, RIPE pairs farm-to-table chefs and restaurants with our farmers and producers to bring Vancouver an amazing evening of local food.

Winter Markets!
We’ve got two winter markets for you this year: Hastings Park Winter Market at the PNEwhich started last Sunday and the Winter Farmers Market at Nat Bailey Stadium starting November 1.
