West End Opening Day!!
This Saturday is opening day at the West End Farmers Market and we couldn’t be more excited! This year marks our 20th birthday so come join us as we kick-off the 2015 season with speeches, ribbon cutting and treats!
Opening Ceremony: Join us at 8:45am to hear from our Executive Director, Tara McDonald, board member, Eric Patel and MLA Vancouver-West End, Spencer Chandra Herbert. Stick around to enjoy sweet treats one of the earliest West End vendors, John from Cookies by John.
Market Membership: If you normally renew your market membership on opening day, don’t forget to stop by the information tent and get that out of the way. Not a member yet? Become one today or sign up on Saturday. Next week, June 6, will be our first Member Appreciation Day of the season and expect to see lots of great deals at the market, stay tuned for more details. We’ll have all the vendors you know and love at the market again this year. Get the best BC farm-fresh produce, meats, cheese, crafts and artisan foods.
New this year: Sample beer, cider, wine & spirits! We’ve got BC Wine Studio, Bomber Brewing & Odd Society Spirits handing out samples for opening day. Pick up your favourite bottle or 6-pack!
