With only four markets left in the West End this season – there’s still plenty of fall foods to be found at the market!
Speaking of fall foods, Thanksgiving is just around the corner so now is the time to start planning your meal. We’ll have everything you need at the market, from proteins and produce to treats and sweets!
Have you reserved your turkey yet? Stop by to talk to the folks at Sleeping Mountain if you haven’t already. Goldwing is also taking orders to bring to the market next week.
It’s hazelnut season again and Poplar Grove returns with fresh green hazelnuts, a rare treat!
Harvest Festival!
It’s time to celebrate the harvest at our annual Harvest Festival at the West End Farmers Market on October 18.
Attention Pie Bakers – we’re putting out an All Points Bulletin for the best pie bakers in the city. Bring us your Fall Fruit Pies and you may be rewarded with the big win. Click here for more details.

RIPE 2014 is less than a month away!

RIPE is VFM’s annual dinner fundraiser, a true celebration of the harvest that showcases the best of our producers paired with Vancouver’s top farm-to-table restaurants. We are thrilled to announce the 2014 roster to date, which includes Edible Canada, Vij’s Rangoli, Graze, and Forage, along with signature cocktails by VFM vendors Long Table Distillery and Odd Society Spirits, a special RIPE cask from R & B Brewery, and Okanagan wines from BC Wine Studio.
