The Vendors
We’ve got an exciting line-up of vendors at Main St Station and it’s so hard to only highlight a few, but here goes:
- Jordan’s Jam: with varieties like Kiwi Jam and BBQ Jam, you know you have to try some. Jordan sources locally and is a regular market shopper himself!
- Kafka’s Cold Brew: you’ve got to see this adorable blue converted horse trailer and sample some of Main St’s best brew – in for a Pop-Up appearances this week only!
- Original Mexican Gourmet: look for the pink cajeta display and don’t forget to sample this traditional mexican treat! Word on the street is you can pick up your own flan if you’re quick…
Don’t Miss
Rockweld has eggs, but only if you get to Main St Station early (did you know eggs have a season? all the local egg farmers are between layers right now!). Make sure to stop by Golden Ears Cheesecrafters – it’s one of the only places to see them in Vancouver!
Manager’s Picks
The bok choy from Cropthorne Farm is beautiful on the grill or in a stir-fry and it’s always fun to bring home Shalefield’s green, orange or purple cauliflower!
Recipe of the Week: Chopped Spring Salad
Pick up garlic, chives, mint, cucumber, scallions, radishes, sugar snap peas and cherry tomatoes from the market. Serve with Old Country Frozen Pierogi or The Pie Company if desired!
See you at the market!
