All Summer Markets are now Open! And Note the FIFA related changes at Midweek Markets
Once again, almost at the end of May, we have all summer season markets now open for the 2026 Summer Season of Vancouver Farmers Markets!!
Across seven neighbourhood markets, Vancouver residents buy directly from local farmers and food producers all season long. This season, we’re also highlighting a simple but important idea through our ongoing campaign: farmers markets are infrastructure. They are community gathering spaces, economic engines for small businesses, food access points, and part of the resilient local food systems our city depends on.
As Vancouver prepares to welcome the world for FIFA festivities this summer, a few temporary market schedule adjustments will be in place for our Downtown and False Creek Farmers Markets.
The following markets will be closed on select dates:
Downtown Farmers Market
Wednesdays | 2pm–6pm
Closed: June 17, June 24, July 1
False Creek Farmers Market
Thursdays | 3pm–7pm
Closed: June 18, June 25, July 2
All other Vancouver Farmers Markets will continue to operate as scheduled throughout the summer season.
We encourage shoppers to visit nearby markets during these closure dates, including:
- West End Farmers Market — Saturdays, 9am–2pm
- Riley Park Summer Farmers Market — Saturdays, 10am–2pm
- Mount Pleasant Farmers Market — Sundays, 10am–2pm
Summer market season is in full swing across the city, and our farmers and vendors look forward to welcoming you at one of our neighbourhood markets.
