Pop Up City Hall at Hastings Park

The City of Vancouver is bringing City Hall to you, the Hastings Park community, this weekend to the market! Recognizing that it can be tough to get to city hall for various reasons like mobility issues, time constraints or location, the City is offering this unique program to encourage residents to be more actively participate with the City. Get blue boxes or bike maps, register for emergency preparedness courses or volunteer opportunities and learn about job opportunities, the green bin program or other programs the City has to offer.   • Bike RegistrationMarch 20: Hastings Sunrise Community Police is coming to the market and encouraging shoppers to register their bikes on their app to prevent bike theft and retrieve bikes that have been stolen.
  • Favourite Recipes Food Swap – April 24: Time to crack open those well-worn cookbooks and dig out the family recipes to share with the group – we’re hosting our next food swap on April 24th and the theme is: Favourite Recipes.
