Fresh to Families – Charity Partner for West Coast Seeds’ 2025 Seedling Sale
We’re excited to announce that Vancouver Farmers Markets’ Fresh to Families Program has been chosen as the 2025 charity partner for the West Coast Seeds Seedling Sale—taking place May 3rd at 5300 34B Ave, Delta, BC!
Each year, West Coast Seeds selects a charitable partner whose values align with their mission to support healthy, sustainable food systems. We’re honoured to be the beneficiary of this year’s event, and grateful to West Coast Seeds for their commitment to food access and local agriculture.
Fresh to Families is VFM’s expansion of the Farmers Market Nutrition Coupon Program, a province-wide initiative that supports lower-income families, seniors, and pregnant people in accessing fresh, local food at farmers markets. The program not only increases food security for participating households—it also directs essential income to local farmers and food producers across BC.
