Whew! What weather!

Thanks to everyone who pitched in and got everyone out safely last week during #BCStorm2015. We’ve never had to close a market early before, but by 12:30pm, West End, Kerrisdale and Trout Lake were all shut down. Happy to report that no one was hurt and only some mild equipment damage. This, of course, means that everyone REALLY needs to stock up on groceries this week…

Don’t miss these vendors:

  • Trudy Ann’s Chai & Spices: Trudy Ann grew up in Bombay, now known as Mumbai. Her masala chai is traditional chai from India. All products are made with organic ingredients with no added flavours.
  • Bryan and Agnes Warmerdam Specialty Daffodils: Bryan and Agnes are a family run business growing over 120 varieties of daffodils, peonies , irises and garlic in Bradner B.C. Something tells us they’ll have garlic this week…
  • Hannah Brook Farm: Paul runs a small farm in Maple Ridge specializing in salad and wild greens for upscale restaurant markets. It is artisan spring-fed, unpressurized water source just 50 miles from Vancouver with minimal use of machinery.
