The trucks aren’t the only ones eligible to win…you can win too!! Tag your market jar @vanmarkets #MarketJar #ZeroWaste #FoodTruckFeb on Instagram and be entered to win a Zero Waste Survival Kit!

What’s at the Market

Cedar Isle Farm
Cedar Isle Farm is Vancouver Farmers Market’s only certified organic grain vendors, bringing oats, wheat and rye to Hastings Park since November and Nat Bailey in January and February. If you haven’t tried them yet, hurry down to Hastings Park this weekend because it’s their last market date of the season! If you fall in love with their grains, sign up their CSA on Sunday – more info here.

Original Mexican Gourmet
In addition to their deliciously rich cajetas (Mexican style chocolates made with goats milk,) OMG Original Mexican Gourmet is excited to introduce 3 new products to the winter markets: Cajeta Meringues, Flan and Jalapeños in Escabeche. These gluten and dairy free treats are handcrafted in Vancouver using natural ingredients – give them a try this Sunday at Hastings Park and tell Rossana what you think!

Healthy Habits Food Swap

It’s time for another food swap and this time we’re turning over a new leaf and focusing on healthy habits for the new year!  We’re encouraging all swappers to bring something with healthy twist – be it a nutty home-made granola or a batch of low sugar jam.  Think about your favourite healthy treats and staples or try something new – now’s the time!   New and returning swappers welcome! Spots are filling up quick and only RSVP’d swappers may participate so click HERE to RSVP!
