Membership Drives Are Back: Discover Our Vendors with special $5 Vouchers!

At Vancouver Farmers Markets, we believe that farmers markets are infrastructure. The markets connect people to food, support small businesses, and build resilient local economies.

And therefore, we are back with one of our most direct ways to do that – our Membership Drives.

Designed to do more than just grow a community of farmers markets shoppers, these drives are about connecting you, our community of shoppers with vendors and their products that you might not have tried yet.

How it works

When you become a VFM member during a drive period, you’ll receive a $5 voucher that can be used at a participating vendor’s stall.

It’s a simple idea with a powerful outcome:

  • You get to try a new product with the $5 Voucher
  • Enjoy other Membership benefits like special deals by many of our vendors, discounts on VFM merchandise, offers by Friends of the Farmers Markets, and most importantly, voting rights at the AGM

Meet the vendors of the first membership drive of 2026

We’re excited to be working with:

  • Creekside Cheese + Creamery a small, family-run, certified organic dairy farm and creamery in BC’s Fraser Valley. They raise their own Brown Swiss cattle and craft artisan cheeses, cream-top milk, and yogurt on the farm, using only the milk from their own cows.
  • Le Meadow’s Pantry Proudly woman-owned, Le Meadow’s Pantry creates artisanal products from local produce that are peeled, chopped, and processed by hand. Cooked in small batches in copper pans—no more than 12 jars at a time—these artisanal creations are inspired by traditional French methods.
  • Damaskino Pastry – Savory or sweet? Damaskino has you covered. At Damaskino Pastry, they bring authentic Syrian flavors to you. Fresh fatayer with premium fillings, and their signature Maamoul cookies filled with pistachio, walnuts, or dates, all made with premium dough. Come taste the difference.
  • Big City Bannock – an Indigenous-owned food truck and catering service based in British Columbia, specializing in traditional ingredients served on bannock. Known for its fusion, popular menu items include elk cheesesteaks, elk tacos, and smoked salmon spread.
  • Mandi’s Mickles – where pickles aren’t just pickles, they’re an obsession. They create bold, full-flavoured, handcrafted pickled goods using locally sourced ingredients. From our Loaded Garlic Mickles to our Tickled Pink Onions, every jar is packed with personality and crunch.

Each of these vendors has partnered with us to welcome new customers and share their foods.

Support local. Discover more. Come back often.
