Vancouver Farmers Markets invites you to join us for the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) & Community Forum on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 2670 Victoria Drive (First Christian Reformed Church).
This year’s AGM is a space for reflection, dialogue, and shared direction-setting for the future of local food systems and farmers market infrastructure in Vancouver. We’ll look back at the past year, share what’s ahead, and most importantly, hear directly from the people who engage with, support, and shape our markets every week.
Ahead of the AGM, elections for three Board of Directors seats will be conducted online. Results will be announced during the meeting. Read the Call for Nominations for the 2026 Board of Directors
Let’s Talk
We’ve heard from vendors and community members that there are too few opportunities to connect directly with board members. This year, we are hosting a dedicated Community Forum designed to create space for deeper, structured conversation.
Before the formal AGM begins, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in table-based discussions with board members, guided by questions selected during registration. These conversations are designed to surface perspectives on current challenges, emerging opportunities, and the long-term direction of VFM over the next 3–5 years.
Flow of the Event
2:30 PM – 4:30 PM Community Forum: Board table conversations
Move between tables, engage in guided discussions, and share your perspective directly with board members.
4:30 PM – 5:00 PM Annual General Meeting, announcement of board election results and conversations.
Seasonal snacks and refreshments will be provided throughout the event.
Everyone is Welcome
This event is open to both VFM members and non-members, and we encourage participation from across our community. We are also intentionally working toward a mix of vendor and community members, reflecting the many voices that shape our markets.
Whether you are a vendor, shopper, neighbour, partner, or supporter of local food systems, your voice helps shape the future of Vancouver Farmers Markets.

Voting eligibility reminder
If you are a VFM member, please note that eligibility to vote in the 2026 Board elections requires your membership to be in good standing at the end of the day on May 5, 2026. If your membership is expired or due for renewal, we encourage you to renew or purchase your membership ahead of this date to ensure your vote is counted.
