FMNCP – Community Partners

FMNCP – FARMERS MARKETS NUTRITION COUPON PROGRAM

Vancouver Farmers Markets DOES NOT register or give out coupons directly to participants. Local community partners enrol and distribute the coupons.

How it works

The program is specifically targeted to the following populations: lower-income pregnant persons, seniors/elders, and families with children. In some instances, with external funding, a partner may support other populations. VFM’s Fresh to Families Program is one such example where VFM fundraises to support additional families via four community partners. Know more about Fresh to Families here on our website.

Please review the list of Community Partner in your area participating in the program on BCAFM website. You must look the partners up on google and contact them directly to enquire about how to get involved. The Community Partner coordinates further steps toward becoming a participant, not the BC Farmers’ Markets.

Spaces for the program are limited and most Community Partners are at capacity; however, they may be able to put you on their wait list if they have one.

For more information, visit the BCAFM Website.
