Opening day a success

What a wet day we had last Saturday! Despite the wet conditions, it was great to see so many people dedicated to supporting local farmers and producers! Putting on those rain boots, grabbing an umbrella and enjoying the market on a rainy Saturday.

Join us at the market this week for an abundance of winter fruit & vegetables, cheese, eggs, meat & seafood, bread & baking and much more!

Don’t miss these vendors:

  • Dogwood Brewing – making their first appearance at the Nat Bailey Winter Market,  Dogwood Brewing is Vancouver’s only certified organic brewery!
  • East Van Jam – using less sugar and more fruit – East Van Jam makes a tasty product that includes a unique character on every jar! East Van Jam is not at the market often so take this opportunity to try a jar.
  • Lochs & Lambs – handmade eco-friendly food covers, mason jar cozies and bags are just some of the items you will find at this crafty stall. Items are made out of recycled materials and will be helping you reduce your waste footprint!

Evo at the market!

Vancouver’s newest car share will be onsite to talk to you about their convenient fleet of hybrids. Look for the Evo tent to learn about their car share, sign up to become a member, and spin their prize wheel!

Parking at the market

Do you drive to the market and are wonder where to park? We have a couple recommendations for you:

The gravel parking lot south of Nat Bailey Stadium provides ample parking and is very close to the market entrance & food trucks. Enter into this lot off Midlothian Ave and follow the farmers market parking signs.

Another parking option is the Riley Park parking lot, enter off 30th Ave., this lot is nearby with many parking stalls.

We ask that you leave the North parking lots for the Hillcrest Community Centre patrons and respect the neighbourhood permit parking areas.
