Hastings Park Winter Market runs every Sunday, 10am-2pm until April 30


Ossome Acres: Certified Organic pea sprouts, sunflower sprouts, eggs, nettles, walnuts, beets, carrots, dandelion greens, palettes, cabbage tops

Paul’s Produce: onions, garlic, carrots, cabbage, potatoes, beets, leeks,  frozen berries, cucumbers, bell peppers, rhubarb, tomatoes

VFM Direct*: eggplant, parsnips, potatoes, microgreens, dried wild mushrooms, white onions, apple juice, kale, hop shoots, collard tips, kale buds

Featured Vendor: Rising Knead Bakery

A small artisan bakery specializing in traditional naturally fermented sourdough breads and pastries. Rising Knead uses fresh ingredients that are locally-sourced and organic where possible. Everything is handcrafted in small batches using organic Canadian-grown grains with a percentage now being freshly milled.

Catch Rising Knead for their first VFM market this Sunday at Hastings Park! 

Veggie of the Week: Rhubarb

Rhubarb! A sign that spring is actually here (don’t let this gloomy weather fool you). Pickup some frozen berries from Paul’s Produce and whip up a berry rhubarb pie this Sunday.
