If you’re looking for top quality BC wine, we’re welcoming BC Wine Studio to Kerrisdale this week. BC Wine Studio is located in Okanagan Falls BC, in the “heart of wine country”. Located on a beautiful six-acre vineyard which features some of BC’s oldest Vinifera plantings, complete with a winery and tasting room.
Meat & Dairy!
In the meat department this week we’ve got Chef’s Natural Sausage. Their flavourful sausage varities are so lean you have to add a little oil in the pan to get things going! It’s also gluten-free and locally made! For the best in grass-fed beef we’ve got Greendale Meats. Since 1995, Greendale has been raising beef the old-fashioned way – free range and grass fed. No growth hormones or implants are used. Happy & healthy beef – they take good care of their cows!
For dairy we have the return of Goat’s Pride Dairy with fresh goat’s milk and a selection of goat’s milk cheeses, including gouda, ricotta and other irresistible varieties.
Market Manager Ron’s pick-of-the-week!
Field to Fork Herbs was started by Jennifer Zickerman in the winter of 2012, when she decided to follow her passion for growing and making food. Her herbs are grown using organic methods: no pesticides or herbicides, organic fertilizers, hand-weeding. (Lots and lots of hand weeding!)
See you at the market!
