Main St Station Opening Day!
This upcoming Wednesday, June 3rd, will mark the first Main St Station market of the year! This market will run every Wednesday until October 7, from 2-6pm. Believe it or not…this is our seventh season at this location! We have a lot of exciting stuff planned this year, starting with opening day so don’t miss out.
Wednesday’s market will kick-off with ribbon cutting, speeches and treats to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Vancouver Farmers Markets. We’ve got VFM’s Executive Director, Tara McDonald, board member, Meeru Dhalwala and Councillor, Heather Deal, at the market to say a few words followed by macarons from Sweet Thea Cakes! Come on down at 1:45pm to join the fun!
This weeks market is also Member Appreciation Day (MAD)! Be sure to sign up or renew your membership at the information booth to get special deals with vendors AND help us reach our goal to raise $20,000 in our 20th year! VFM depends on member support to continue our mission to provide Vancouver with fun and vibrant neighbourhood markets.
