Stock up on all the fresh farm-to-table goods you need for weekend bbqs, beach picnics, and summer entertaining each Thursday at the Downtown Farmers Market!
NEW LUNCHTIME HOURS! Grab delicious food cart offerings and do a quick grocery shop during our new, convenient market hours of 11am-3pm. Pick up a Loyalty Lunch Card from the market info tent and every 8th lunch is on us! This week we’re excited to eat gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches from Cheeses Crust, Korean Taco’s from Disco Cheetah, Raw Vegan Pad Thai Salad from Gaia Ma & top it all off with ice cream from Say Hello Sweets!
In Season:
The long, wet winter continues to mean that many growers have had a late start to the season and but we’re starting to see them trickle in (…with strawberries & cherries next week!!)…but even with all that, we will still have a variety of fresh produce from our vendors this Thursday!
beets, salad greens, rhubarb, chard, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, turnips, spinach, radishes, eggs, salmon, honey…check out the full in season list here!

The Street Vendors Collective – a peer-managed, independent collective of vendors and peers from the Downtown Eastside community.
Based out of the Carnegie Community Centre, the pilot project offers vending opportunities using carts and tables to low-income artists, craftspeople, and people with experience in the informal economy.
The objective of this pilot project is to develop more legal low-barrier economic opportunities for local artists, binners, and entrepreneurs to participate in the formal economy.
Each week you’ll find two vendors participating in this pilot project at the Downtown Farmers Market – make sure to check them out!

Looking ahead at a busy week? With a Downtown Farmers Market Fresh Box you’ll get a market shopping trip done in 5 minutes. Pickup is Thursday at the Downtown Vancouver Farmers Market and you can order online until 5pm on Tuesdays.
We do the picking and all you have to do is enjoy!
