It’s Farmers Appreciation Week! Markets around the province will be holding special events to honour farmers. We’re showing our appreciation for those who grow and harvest the food we eat by providing our hard working farmers with refreshments all day. To show your support, we’ll have a donation bin to help buy a farmer a coffee and some treats. Feel free to thank a farmer directly and tell them you appreciate them!

Apples, Apples, Apples!
The weather is hinting that summer is coming to an end and fall is here….and that means apples are here! Apple pie, apple crumble, apple butter, apple pancakes, dried apples, canned apples….need I say more? It’s a good time of year. Get your apples from many farmers around the market including: Stein Mountain, Jobst-Hof, Klippers, Golden West Farms, Harvey’s Orchards & Forrest Nelson.
