We are Celebrating Farmer Appreciation week this Sunday at the Kitsilano Market. The Market will be providing treats for the farmers to show them the appreciation they deserve! The Vancoucer Neighbourhood Food Network will have a booth set up at Kitsilano this weekend. The Network represents the will of community members, organizations, and agencies to collaborate on community-based food initiatives and programs. They provide a space for representatives from across the city to collaborate, share best practices and advocate for food justice with a unified voice. Come by their booth and check them out!

The Salt Spring Coffee Edible Scavenger Hunt has kicked off, and runs until October 9. This is a super fun and easy way for shoppers to connect with farmers, food, and even market crew for a chance to win some sweet prizes.
