What’s Fresh at Riley Park – June 24th
We can’t wait for the Riley Park Farmers Market Grand Opening this Saturday June 24th! We are looking forward to bringing seasonal produce, ethically raised meat, eggs & dairy, sustainable seafood, craft beer, wine, & spirits, artisanal food and craft and food trucks to the neighbourhood this summer! Join us to kick off the festivities with a ribbon cutting, speeches and cake at 10AM. There will also be activities in the community garden throughout the day and a face painter on site.
What’s in Season:
arugula, asparagus, bell peppers, carrots, cabbage, chard, cherries, collards, cucumber, garlic, kale, leeks, onions, parsnips, potatoes, radish, rhubarb, salad greens, shallots, spinach, spring onions, sprouts, strawberries, turnips
