Manager’s Picks

It looks like it will be great Saturday for a summer picnic! Great snacking options at Trout include popsicles from Nice Pops, baked goods from Blackberry Hill, cheese from Golden Ears Cheesecrafters or Little Qualicum Cheeseworks, hummus from Bean Boy Creations, or a selection of fruit from one of the many farmers. Cherries, blackberries, apricots, blueberries, strawberries AND raspberries are all in season – incredible.

Don’t Miss:

This week we’ll be celebrating the mural painted last summer on the Trout Lake Market container by artist Cole Bazin and community volunteers. Join us at 1pm for cake and snacks to celebrate!

Blue Comet Seafoods will have fresh Barkley Sound sockeye (fillets and whole fish).

Salt Spring Coffee will be there with cold brew coffee samples – find them at the West entrance to the market.
