On June 18, 2018 the City of Vancouver, xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and sə̓lílwətaʔɬ(Tsleil-Waututh) announced šxʷƛ̓exən Xwtl’a7shn as the new name for Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza.
